Pelagic Fillets

Pelagic products include the processing and filleting of Herring – Mackerel and Horse Mackerel.  Whole round fish of Mackerel, Herring, Horse Mackerel and Capelin are produced as well.

Processing – filleting and freezing the fish as soon as possible after being landed is of major importance to the quality of the final product.

Modern and rational filleting machines take good care of the landed quantity of pelagic fish.
